• WRXV FM 89.1 made it's first broadcast at 3:30pm on June 18, 2004. The first song played on RevFM was "Destined to Win" by DeGarmo & Key, and was followed by "Hand of Providence" by Michael W. Smith. Both of these songs reflect the victory that resulted after 10 year of struggle to bring this radio station on the air, and the hand of God that has been with us through each step of the way.
• Since the first broadcast in 2004, the RevFM coverage area has grown to include 2 translator stations which drastically improve the RevFM coverage area.  99.9 RevFM came on the air in December 2006.  It serves the Clearfield county/DuBois region from a tower site on Rockton mountain.  102.7 RevFM came on the air in October 2007.  It serves the Blair county/Altoona region from a tower site on Brush mountain.  There are plans to add new full power and translator stations as God opens the doors.  So far, the FCC has granted permission to build 2 new full power stations - WRWV 91.1 RevFM in Elk county and WRYV 88.7 in Mifflin, Juniata & Huntingdon counties.
  
• WRXV is Central PA's (State College, Altoona, Clearfield, Huntingdon) only locally owned and operated full power contemporary Christian music radio station.  The board of directors is comprised of people who live in and know this region.
• WRXV is committed to our communities. During our first 4 years on the air, RevFM has broacasted from events all across our coverage area.  We've been at youth outreaches in Clearfield and Altoona, Concerts in State College, Tipton and Altoona and the Creation festival near Huntingdon.  We've given away hundreds of CDs and other prizes.  And, most importantly, we've had a chance to talk with countless people who are hurting and need Jesus
• By law, WRXV can only be supported by it's listeners.  It is not permitted to sell commercial time to stay on the air.  Listeners and business listeners who give finacially to the radio station keep this station alive.  If you haven't started supporting RevFM, please do so right now.  We can only stay on the air as long as there is money to pay the bills.
