Thank you for your interest in becoming a RevFM underwriter. WRXV is licensed by the FCC as a non-commercial educational radio station.  This means RevFM must depend on your financial support to continue impacting lives throughout central Pennsylvania with positive, family friendly programming.  As a non-commercial radio station, we are not permitted to air commercials.  However, the FCC does permit us to air basic and enhanced underwriting announcements for businesses that support RevFM.  Enhanced spots may include: Business name, slogans which identify and do not promote,  location information (including physical and internet address), telephone number, value neutral descriptions of a product line or service, and brand and trade names and product or service listings.  Because the spots are meant to be informational and not promotional in nature, they cannot include price information, calls to action, or an inducement to buy, sell, rent, or lease. 

RevFM offers several underwriting opportunities to you:  

WEEKDAY SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM

Available to any organization or business (non-profit OR for-profit) who want to commit to be a monthly underwriter of RevFM.  A discount of 10% will be applied to these rates for a 12 month commitment. A discount of 5% will be applied to these rates for a 6 month commitment.  Underwriting support may be paid on a monthly, 6 month or yearly basis (in advance).   

BASIC  UNDERWRITING (subtract 10% for 12 months,  5% for 6 months)·        

• Option #1a: $82.50 per month -- Two (2) *basic mentions per weekday (10am - 3pm)      
• Option #1b: $110.00 per month -- Three (3) *basic mentions per weekday, One (1) during morning, One (1) in the Midday from 10am - 3pm and One (1) from 3pm - 7pm.

3. By the loyalty of other underwriters and listeners who support our underwriting family with patronage.
4. By getting your business name mentioned to a potential audience of more than 265,000 people.

*Basic underwriting is a 5-10 second mention with your business name and city location along with a “Thank You” for supporting RevFM. 

ENHANCED  UNDERWRITING  Maximum 30 second spot  (subtract 10% for 12 months,  5% for 6 months)

• Option #1: $175.00 per month -- Three (3) enhanced** spots per weekday. One (1) time during the Midday (10:00am - 3:00pm) and One (1) time during each drive time (6:00am - 10:00am and 3:00pm - 7:00pm)
• Option #2: $275.00 per month -- Five (5) enhanced** spots per day.  Three (3) times during the Midday (10:00 AM - 3:00 PM) and One (1) time during each drive time (6:00 AM - 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM).
• Option #3: DRIVE TIME PACKAGE: $330.00 per month -- (6) enhanced** spots per day.  Twice during 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM and twice during each drive time (6:00 - 10:00 AM and 3:00 - 7:00 PM).
• Option #4:  ALL DAY PACKAGE: $550.00 per month -- Eleven (11) enhanced** spots per day.  Three (3) times in the Midday (10:00 AM - 3:00 PM).  Two (2) times during each drive time (6:00 - 10:00 AM and 3:00 - 7:00 PM) and Four (4) times during evening programming (7:00 PM - 12 midnight). ** If you are a "for-profit" business, Enhanced Underwriting announcements may include your business name, product line/services, address, phone number, and website address.  Information for Enhanced Underwriting spots for non-profit organizations is found below.

ADJACENT FEATURE ENHANCED UNDERWRITING (must commit to 12 months of underwriting)

• $10.00 per spot -- Your spot will air adjacent to any regular short (30 sec to 2 min) feature we air.  You choose the feature (first come, first serve) you want to underwrite.  Your spot will run immediately before the feature you choose.  

Live Event Remote Broadcast Sponsorship Program for Non-Profit entities:

RevFM may choose to do 1 or more live broadcasts each month for community oriented or cultural events presented by non-profit organizations.   Underwriting opportunities may be available to any organization or company (non-profit OR for-profit) who wish to sponsor a live remote broadcast of this type of event on RevFM.  Non-profit and business underwriters will be given on-air credit for underwriting the live broadcast as part of the event promotional spot during the 2 weeks prior to and throughout the entire event.  For profit business underwriters will need to certify that they are not directly or indirectly involved with, or have financial interests in the event.   Generally, we will not broadcast live from an event unless it is held in a non-commercial location (i.e. - Community Park, school auditorium, etc) .  A live broadcast may be held at a commercial venue (i.e. - Concert venue, Amusement Park, etc.) if the event is sponsored and underwritten by a non-profit group that rents the use of a commercial establishment and the owner of the venue is not an underwriter of RevFM

• LIVE BROADCAST: The broadcast includes a 30 second spot promoting the event which will run on a regular schedule during the 2 weeks leading up to the event. In addition, our on air staff will periodically talk about the event for 2 weeks prior. At the agreed time on the day of the event, a RevFM staff member will be at the event and will broadcast several live on-air segments (via telephone line, which event organizer must supply at its own expense) Depending on the circumstances, we may describe the event and invite people to come to the event over the air. There may be an opportunity to discuss the event with its organizers on the air. The cost for underwriting a live broadcast is $500 for 0 to 2 hours, $100 for each additional hour. The RevFM logo must be included on all promotional material distributed for the event. Event promoters will allow the RevFM banner to be placed prominently at the event, and will provide a table for RevFM promotional material. All requests for remotes should be received at least 6 weeks in advance of the event to determine availability of on-air staff.
